Fun with a new photo app

I was just playing around with a new application I found called "101 photo effects" and played with 4 pictures in Symmetry horizontal and symmetry quad.   The results were fun and unexpected.  You might also want to try it.  Here are those 4 pictures.

Some of my earliest postings were pictures taken by my camera that were stored on my phone. The more recent, and the ones in the future will be taken by my phone. If I should take a spectacular picture on my camera that I feel compelled to share with you, I will let you know that it was not shot by my phone. Otherwise, assume that my pictures from here on out are taken by my phone. Thanks, The Stork.

I just got back from climbing the mountain into the Lone Peak Wilderness area.  I am still alive but my legs are going to be sore in the morning.  Brian Challis really knows the mountain and he took me on a trail that he is quite sure no one ever uses.  Unfortunately, the valley was very smoky but the mountainside was spectacular.  My pictures on the iPhone won't do it justice but I would still like to share a few pictures with you.  I have a few more that I will post in the days to come.
This evening I am hiking with my friend and neighbor, Brian Challis up Dry Creek Canyon east of Wasatch Blvd. Brian knows Lone Peak very well and he wants to show me some "photogenic" sites. He reassures me that the hike will not kill me and I hope he is right. As you can imagine, I do not have an abundance of time to roam the mountainside, but I enjoy the beauties of nature and they are so close that it would be sad not to take advantage of the opportunity. Stay tuned for pictures from the hike.
